Job Description: Regional Logistics Executive – Wipro
Position Summary:
The Regional Logistics Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing all logistics operations within the assigned region to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods. The role involves coordination with various stakeholders, including supply chain teams, vendors, and customers, to optimize logistics performance, maintain inventory accuracy, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the regional logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers and depots.
- Monitor and manage the performance of third-party logistics (3PL) service providers.

Inventory Control:
- Oversee inventory levels at warehouses and distribution centers to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams for stock replenishment.

Cost Optimization:
- Analyze and manage logistics costs to achieve budget targets.
- Identify areas for cost savings without compromising service quality.

Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics vendors and service providers.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).

Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies for logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and related documents.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with regional sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to align logistics operations with business goals.
- Provide updates on delivery schedules and resolve escalated logistics issues.

Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Implement best practices and new technologies to streamline operations.

Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare and present periodic reports on logistics performance, costs, and key metrics to management.
- Use analytics to forecast demand and optimize transportation routes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a regional role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
- Strong knowledge of transportation modes and warehouse operations.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to logistics and transportation.
