About the Role

Wipro is seeking an experienced Ethics & Compliance leader to spearhead the organization’s global compliance framework. This role will be responsible for strengthening the culture of integrity, driving enterprise-wide compliance programs, and ensuring adherence to ethics, anti-bribery & corruption (ABC), whistleblowing, and ombudsman mechanisms across all business units and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Ethics & Compliance Leadership

● Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Wipro’s Global Ethics & Compliance Program.

● Drive compliance awareness and culture-building initiatives across global teams.

● Ensure policies and standards are aligned with international regulations and industry best practices. Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC).

● Oversee and enhance ABAC frameworks in line with FCPA, UK Bribery Act, POCA, and other applicable global laws. ● Manage third-party risk assessments, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of intermediaries and business partners. ● Guide business teams on gifts, entertainment, conflict of interest, charitable contributions, and high-risk transactions. Whistleblowing & Ombudsman Office.

● Lead the whistleblowing/helpline function, ensuring fair, confidential, and timely intake and resolution of concerns.

● Serve as the escalation point for sensitive ethics matters and complaints. 

● Ensure robust investigation processes, root-cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.

● Oversee the Ombudsman framework to provide employees and stakeholders unbiased grievance redressal. Internal - General Use Investigations.

● Direct and supervise internal investigations involving fraud, misconduct, harassment, and ethical breaches.

● Maintain investigation protocols, documentation, and governance standards.

● Partner with legal, HR, internal audit, risk, and business stakeholders as required. Regulatory Compliance & Governance.

● Monitor evolving global compliance regulations pertaining to ethics and assess organizational impact.

● Oversee compliance risk assessments and drive remediation strategies.

● Support internal and external audits related to ethics and compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement

● Advise senior leadership and the Board/Board Committees on compliance risks and program status.

● Drive cross-functional alignment with Legal, HR, Risk, Finance, and Procurement teams.

● Conduct periodic reporting on KPIs, investigations, and risk indicators.

Qualifications & Experience

● 15+ years of experience in Ethics, Compliance, Legal, or Risk roles in large multinational organizations.

● Strong experience in anti-bribery & corruption (FCPA/UKBA), investigations, whistleblower management, and ethics advisory. 

● Proven track record of leading global compliance programs or ombudsman functions.

● Excellent judgment, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
