Finance Special Projects

1. This is a key Corporate role requiring monitoring, review and governance of the ‘Finance Strategic Projects’ (FSP)
2. This role is responsible for ensuring planning, appropriate accounting, set up of financial metrix, periodic performance review of the FSP where significant deployment of resources are made by the company.
3. The FSP involves investment by the company in the Oversees Direct Investment, Investment in Leased Assets, Investment in development of intangibles, Investment in startups etc.
4. The role requires sound understanding of the accounting frameworks viz Ind AS, IFRS etc. and  financial management models.
5. It involves managing the stakeholders with a periodic operating mechanism, reporting and ensuring the audit of the FSP.
6. Involving and communicating proactively with the stakeholders for any deviation from the plan is key requirement of the role.
7. The role reports to the Group Controller.

Requirement:

1. Chartered Accountant with 12-15 years of experience.
2. Preferable experience in a big 4/large corporate having dealt with reporting related matters involving multiple view points.
3. Should be sound in financial management models.
4. Should be excellent in multiple stakeholder management.
5. Understand India and international frameworks of reporting of financials, consolidation, tax and ESG.
6. Working knowledge of technology viz ERPs, adjacent applications, AI etc. would be helpful.
