Production Manager is responsible for manufacturing operations of Plant with accountability for Cost, Quality and Delivery as per customer commitments with the help of a team from across functions like Production, Quality, Engineering, Materials and SCM, HR and Finance.  He has to drive for optimum utilisation of all the resources (man and machine) with continuous improvements in processes, cycle time, waste elimination, and applying new ways of working. Also ensure congenial work atmosphere to attract and retain quality talent across functions.

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 10-15 years of experience including managing Production of a medium sized plant with the help of a team of professionals from across functions.

• Motivate and rally his team around to deliver on commitments.

• Exposure in handling state of the art machine shop.. (with CNCs, SPMs, assembly lines, and Special processes)
• Delivering on targets of productivity, quality and safety by skilful handling of variables like machines, materials, manpower, etc.
• Handling employee relations at shop floor level
• Implement and Execute lean manufacturing aspects in the plant
• Proven ability to deal with labour unions will be an advantage.
• Drive the team in achieving in shift/day/monthly targets in line with manufacturing norms.
