Qualifications:

Desired Experience:

BE/BTech – Mechanical Engineering

5 to 7 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain of an engineering/automobile industry/MNC

Key Responsibilities:

• Key responsibility will be buyer function including Daily follow-up with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners for shipment status
• Coordinate with overseas Wipro teams and external stakeholders for tracking inbound/outbound materials
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time receipt of goods at plant/warehouse
• Update and maintain logistics trackers, shipping documents, and dashboards
• Escalate and resolve supply delays, shortages, or documentation issues
• Work closely with internal teams (Planning, Stores, Quality) for logistics planning
• Ready to visit local suppliers or vendors if required for follow-ups, coordination, or issue resolution
• Support in cost comparison, alternate sourcing, and identifying freight optimization opportunities
• Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams
• Contribute to monthly logistics reporting and supplier performance tracking
• Knowledges on Development process – Proto & PPAP

• Good understanding of shipping terms (INCOTERMS), documentation, and logistics cycles
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, especially in email follow-ups
• Proactive mindset with a focus on execution and closure
