Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supply Chain Engineer to join our dynamic team in Peenya, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in zero-based costing of machining parts and fabricated sheet metal parts, along with strong negotiation and supplier interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expertise in zero-based costing of machining parts and fabricated sheet metal parts.
2. Strong negotiation and supplier interaction skills.
3. Solid background in sourcing, supply chain, production management, or engineering.
4. Drive margin improvement by creating and executing cost reduction negotiations.
5. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality, marketing, and materials.
6. Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
7. Familiarity with commodity indexing such as rounds, sheets, aluminium, etc.
8. Hands-on experience with SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
9. Resolve issues related to price, quality, and delivery with suppliers in coordination with technical, quality, and marketing teams.

Minimum Experience:

• 7+ years of relevant experience

Qualifications:

• BE in Mechanical Engineering

Language Requirements:

• English, Hindi (Preferred)
• Kannada, Tamil, Telugu (Optional)
