Job Description & Requirements:

• Role: Supplier Quality Engineer
• Designation:  Sr. Engineer/Assistant Manager
• Educational Qualifications: Diploma / BE
• Experience Required: 10 to 13Years Exp with Diploma / 7-8 Years’ Experience with Btech /BE
• Industry of experience preferred: Automotive / Construction Equipment manufacturing company / Hydraulics
• Job Location: Bengaluru

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

1. New supplier selection, assessment, evaluation & approval
2. Manage supplier’s quality improvement program, performance monitor & supplier ratings.
3. Leading the suppliers through Quality at Source & Zero PPM approaches, PPAP, Quality Control Circle projects & Trainings
4. Planning and conducting system, process, and product audits as per the SOP & plan.
5. To manage all aspects of Supplier Quality & Development product inspection activities for commodities like machined parts, casting, forging as per defined Quality norms
6. Rectify and resolve the technical issues, which render the continuous supply of products.
7. Training and evaluating the suppliers on continual improvement basis through matrix system with factors like PPM, CAPA age, Audit rating, Process capability.
8. Technical feasibility study and signoffs with concern stake holders / Process owners
9. Prepares quality documentation and MIS reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing

               information and trends on supplier quality performance & issues.

        Note -   Candidate should have six sigma Green/black belt certificate.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS:             

1. Enriched experience in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, PFD, CP,     

              MSA, SPC, QCC, Root cause analysis by 7 QC Tools, 8D & 5W’s analysis

2. Fixtures & Gauges development.
3. ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016
4. Supplier development & new product development.
5. Machining, Forging, Casting & Welding process.
6. Customer complaints handling & Non- Conformance product analysis.

MANAGEMENT & SOFT SKILLS:

1. Project Management.
2. Strong Leadership qualities & Interpersonal skills with excellent ability to

coordinate with different people

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
