Job Purpose

Ensure accurate and timely creation, maintenance and reporting of SAP Bill of Materials (BOM), routings and associated manufacturing master data. Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement and the SAP/BO support team to resolve issues and maintain data integrity for smooth production execution.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP BOM Creation and Routing: Create and maintain material BOMs and production routings based on approved engineering and process inputs.

• SAP BOM Updates: Implement approved changes to components, quantities, units of measure, alternatives and validity details, with appropriate traceability.

• SAP Master Data Maintenance: Maintain relevant material and manufacturing master data, ensuring completeness, consistency and alignment with released documentation.

• SAP Posting Issues: Identify posting or transaction issues, document error details and coordinate with the BO/SAP support team through closure.

• Cycle Time and Batch Quantity Updates: Update standard cycle times, operation details and batch quantities after validation by the responsible functions.

• PR and PO Process Tracking: Support Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order activities, monitor status and follow up for timely completion.

• PFD, PFMEA and Control Plan Coordination: Coordinate preparation, review and revision of Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA and Control Plans, ensuring consistency with the defined manufacturing process.

• Daily BOM Status Reporting: Prepare and circulate a daily report covering new BOMs, updates, pending inputs, SAP issues, PR/PO progress and key risks.

• Vendor code and vendor master and management 

• ECN portal and process change request

Key Deliverables

• Accurate BOMs and routings released within agreed timelines.

• Updated master data reflecting approved engineering and process changes.

• Timely closure of SAP posting and transaction issues with the BO/SAP support team.

• Current PR/PO tracker with clear owners, status and follow-up actions.

• Aligned PFD, PFMEA and Control Plan documentation.

• Daily BOM status report with priorities, blockers and next actions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree, Bachelor’s computer or any computer degree

• Practical experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment involving BOM, routing or master-data activities.

• Working knowledge of SAP transactions related to BOM, routing, material master, production planning and procurement.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering change control and technical documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email communication and status reporting.
