Eligible Criteria for Internal applicants: Minimum 2 years’ experience required in the current role (mandatory)

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineer with around 10 yrs- 15yrs OR DME with around 15yrs-20yrs  work experience
• Should have sound knowledge in handling Precision –Engineered Components in Hydraulics.
• Hands on knowledge on Production process , Safety, Quality .ISO/TS 16949 System, OSHAS / EMS system adherence  & its requirements,5S, Maintaining machines wrt TPM ,Kaizen, POKA YOKE, Visual Controls Etc.,
• Should have hands on experience in handling the Unionized work force.
• Should be able to manage the shop floor discipline
• Plan and Monitor the daily production to meet the customer requirement.
• Should have a good interpersonal skill ,team work ,Connect with customer and respond to customer queries on dispatches
• Should have knowledge and experience on OEE and Productivity
• WIP inventory management ,Rework and rejection,
• Should have hands on experience on Machining process/Welding/ Assembly/ Plating and Painting.
• Good people management skills
• Hands on exposure in documentation-SAP.
• Hands on experience in maintaining work instructions and skill matrix at shop floor.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Must handle the Plant activities independently.
• Ensure the production as per the Plan and commitment and customer requirement.
• Coordinate with CFT to complete new product in time.
• Monitoring and reduction of manufacturing & base cost.
• Driving projects wrt SQPDCME.
• Conduct the team meeting with CFT.
• Must lead from the front to ensure the Safety at plant continues improvement ,5S and quality. maintain and improve quality level In house and at customer end.
• Engage and review with purchase team to monitor and ensure  the material availability to meet the assembly plan.
• Co ordinate with CFT and ensure the product is dispatched as per the plan.
• Involve in Design review and implement the changes in production.
