Eligible Criteria for Internal applicants:  Minimum 2 years’ experience required in the current role (mandatory)

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineer with around 15 yrs- 20 yrs work experience.
• Should have sound knowledge in handling Precision – Engineered Components in Hydraulics.
• Hands on knowledge on Quality function, QC tools, SPC, ISO/TS 16949 System & its requirements,5S, Kaizen, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, POKA YOKE, Visual Controls Etc.,
• Should have hands on in handling OEM Customer’s quality requirements, ensure customer satisfaction.
• Must have handled QA plant activities independently.
• Should have hands on experience on Machining/Welding/ Assembly/ Plating and Painting.
• Good people management skills
• Hands on exposure in documentation-SAP.
• Should have hands-on exposure to Six Sigma methodologies with a preference for certified Green Belt or Black Belt.

• Hands on experience in maintaining work instructions and skill matrix at shop floor.
• Hands on experience in maintaining Calibration records of measuring instruments.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Must handle the Plant activities independently.
• Ensure implementation of customer specific requirements into our Quality Standards and Processes.
• Conduct process audit, lead APQP, PPAP activities, conduct MSA studies, support manufacturing to quality levels, improve yield, maintain and improve quality level at customer end, conducting EHS audits, Assist Six Sigma.
• Co-ordination of all ISO/TS 16949 activities related to QA.
• Defining Quality procedures in conjunction with operating staffs to apply. Come out with the reactive and proactive interventions in case of deviations.
• Monitoring process performance by gathering relevant data and collecting & analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters.
• Manage and maintain the company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and formulate the development and implementation of QA/QC goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems.
• Responsible for maintaining Calibration of equipment’s across the plant, active participation in new product development.
