Desired Candidate Profile:

 

Qualifications:

Desired Experience:

BE / BTech in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering

At least 8 - 12 years in Manufacturing Operations / Lean / TPM/ WCM. Preferably a Lean Certified / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt

 

Key Skills Required:
  • Should have hands on experience in the manufacturing sector – ideally automotive and associated industries. Should be able drive change initiatives in the Organization
  • Knowledge of latest Lean / TPM methods and techniques and track record of outstanding project facilitation
  • Demonstrated experience in roll out / execution of lean systems and tools like VSM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED ,FMEA, POKA YOKE, TIMWOODS etc.,
  • In depth knowledge of problem solving tools such as -RCA, Demonstrated experience in driving business critical Six Sigma projects and improvements
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Based on these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
  • Co-ordination and establish the 5S and TPM pillar activities.
  • Carrying out Time & motion studies to optimize resource
  • IOT / Industry 4.0 exposure to drive plant wide digitization initiative
  • Working knowledge of MINITAB/Other statistical tools

Position Details

 

Key Accountabilities includes but not limited to:
  • Leading site Global Initiative function at Hindupur Plants for Wipro Infrastructure Engineering
  • Ownership and accountability of all GI activities.
  • Cross functional effective team collaboration.
  • Prepare ppt and training materials etc. and effectively impart it to the users
  • Help Plant to achieve business metrics by driving Lean / Cost out projects
  • Engaging with other plant functions to inculcate Lean culture  
  • Drive VSM and Six Sigma Projects across plants, standardize key business processes and be a Change Agent.

 

Reporting:

This position reports into the Plant Head & Global Initiatives Head
