Qualifications:

Desired Experience:

BE/BTech – Mechanical Engineering

10 to 12 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain of an engineering/automobile industry/MNC

Key Skills Required:

• Should have experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management from manufacturing/auto component industry.
• Preference will be given to those who have handled Forging components
• Hands on experience in identifying, evaluating, and developing vendors for machined components are a must.
• Knowledge on Costing and Negotiation is must.
• Knowledge on SAP is must
• Excellent communication skills and high energy levels.
• Develop and manage a good supplier base, Experience in developing Forged machining components.
• Analytical ability to quickly reach the root-cause of a problem
• Initiate and Drive Value Engineering & Cost Reduction projects.
• Proactive and self-starting; seizes opportunities and acts upon them with enthusiasm and commitment.
• Must have Knowledge in Forging capacity Mapping & drive towards action plan
• Should have experience in Lead time reduction in Forging & Machining Parts
• Self-driven in all the Area
• Experienced in Planning, implementation of key procurement strategies, contingency plans,

organizing and controlling all requisite activities to perform procurement.
