Role Description:

Responsible for the design, development, validation, and project execution of high-precision engineered products within defined cost, quality, and delivery targets. The role involves leading product development programs, interacting with global customers and suppliers, driving technical problem-solving, and managing cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of new product development initiatives.

Additionally, the role involves:

• Interacting with customers to understand product requirements and gather technical inputs.
• Designing and developing new hydraulic cylinder products and related engineering solutions.
• Collaborating with global customers on product development and engineering projects.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams across geographies to achieve project objectives.
• Leading project execution activities from concept through validation and industrialization.
• Interacting with suppliers for technical discussions, innovation, and engineering problem resolution.
• Driving engineering excellence through structured design, validation, and product development methodologies.
• Mentoring and guiding team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualification:

• BE / B.Tech / AMIE in Mechanical Engineering

Desired Experience:

• 12- 18 years of experience in Precision Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, R&D, Prototype Development, or Hydraulic Product Design.

Eligibility Criteria for Internal Applicants:

• Minimum experience in the current role: 2 years
• Minimum performance criteria (HVC/MR for last 2 years): HVC
• Grade criteria: WIN D/ WIN D1 / WIPRO WATER C1

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience leading R&D and product development projects.
• Strong exposure to hydraulic cylinder design and validation.
• Experience working with global customers and suppliers.
• Hands-on knowledge of CAD, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, manufacturing processes, and product industrialization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple development projects simultaneously.
