JOB TITLE : Sr. Project Leader - R & D  

 Brief Role Summary

Design, Development and Validation of high precision engineered products within cost and delivery constraints. 

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Interact with Customers obtain information/data of customer needs
2. Designing and development of new products (Hydraulic cylinders)
3. Interact with global customers in product development
4. Work closely with other teams across GEOs in developing plans aligned with key objectives.
5. Lead a team & project execution.
6. Interact with Suppliers to get new information and technical problem solving.

 Skill Requirements :

 Technical :

1. Engineering Design capabilities involving concepts of Machine design, Materials knowledge, Strength of Materials etc
2. Conversant with modern methods & tools of Product Design and development including CAD (CreO), CAM, CAE, FMEA, GD&T, six sigma and knowledge of processes like PPAP and APQP.
3. Should have adequate understanding of manufacturing processes like welding, grinding, plating, painting, heat treatments etc.
4. Hydraulic industry experience is preferred.
5. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes
6. Exposure to Quality System environment like ISO 9000/QS 9000/TS16949.
7. Project execution skills
8. Knowledge on AIML agents & exploratory abilities of using globally available AI platforms for technical learning & for problem solving.

Soft Skills :

1. Communication : Excellent command over written & verbal English, produces written communications clear, fluent, concise, and readily understood by recipients.
2. Ability to work in boundary less teaming environments.
3. Excellent Interpersonal Skills, understand the issues from other party's perspective, is tactful and diplomatic in handling interpersonal issues.
4. Should be able to lead and handle meetings with internal & external clients
5. Builds rapport with, encourages and motivate team members, provides equal opportunity for every one to contribute towards the task. 
6. Ability to plan, analyze, flexible and looks for ways to resolve crisis situation.

 Qualification– BE / AMIE in Mechanical with good academic background in preferred.

 Experience – 15+ years in precision mechanical engineering industry, having worked in R&D or Proto Development.
