Role Description:

Own and drive metallurgy, additive manufacturing (AM), and special process engineering activities with focus on heat treatment, customer and industry specification compliance, part certification, NPI support, testing and failure analysis, NADCAP/AS9100 readiness, and supplier development for AM and special processes.

Qualification:
BE – Metallurgy

Desired Experience:
5–7 years

Eligibility Criteria for Internal Applicants:

• Minimum experience in the current role: 2 years
• Minimum performance criteria (HVC/MR for last 2 years): HVC

• Grade criteria: WIN F1/ WIN F/ WIPRO WATER B2/ WIPRO WATER B1

Key Skills Required:

• Metallurgy and heat treatment process ownership
• Additive Manufacturing (AM / 3D Manufacturing) process knowledge
• Special process validation and qualification
• Metallurgical troubleshooting (hardness, cracking, distortion, microstructure)
• Customer/OEM/global specification interpretation (AMS / ASTM / customer specs)
• Part certification (CoC, material/powder certificates, test reports, traceability)
• NPI / NPD support (process routes, PFMEA inputs, control plans, qualification reports)
• Failure analysis, metallurgical evaluation, and mechanical testing coordination
• NADCAP and AS9100 compliance for AM and special processes
• Supplier qualification and development for AM powders and special processes
