Role Description:
Responsible for the design, development, validation, and industrialization of high-precision engineered products within defined cost, quality, and delivery targets. The role involves customer interaction, product design and development, technical problem-solving, prototype validation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to support new product development initiatives.
Additionally, the role involves:
- Interacting with customers to understand product requirements and collect technical inputs.
- Designing and developing new hydraulic cylinder products and related engineering solutions.
- Collaborating with vendors for technical discussions, component development, and problem-solving.
- Working closely with global customers and cross-functional teams on product development activities.
- Supporting product validation, testing, and design verification.
- Driving engineering improvements through structured design and development methodologies.
- Coordinating with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and project teams to ensure successful product launch.
- Leading project teams and managing development activities to achieve project objectives.
Qualification:
- BE / B.Tech / AMIE in Mechanical Engineering
Desired Experience:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in Precision Mechanical Engineering, R&D, Product Design, Product Development, or Prototype Development.
Eligibility Criteria for Internal Applicants:
- Minimum experience in the current role: 2 years
- Minimum performance criteria (HVC/MR for last 2 years): HVC
- Grade criteria: WIN F1 / WIN G / WIPRO WATER A3 / WIPRO WATER B1

- Strong exposure to engineering product development lifecycle.
- Proven experience interacting with customers and suppliers.
- Hands-on exposure to CAD, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and product validation activities.
- Ability to manage multiple development projects and work with global stakeholders.
