Description: 

A mechanical engineering professional with 4–5 years of experience in hydraulic systems assembly, validation testing, and process development. Specialized in designing and validating hydraulic and mechanical test systems such as fixtures, test rigs, power packs, and associated instrumentation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute prototype and pilot assembly with validation testing to support new product development, VA/VE initiatives, and new technology projects.
  2. Develop and optimize assembly/testing processes, fixtures, jigs, and test rigs, including automation using PLCs, LabVIEW, HMI, and SCADA.
  3. Perform functional, endurance, fatigue, and performance tests on hydraulic components, ensuring compliance with DVP and customer-specific requirements.
  4. Prepare SOPs, validation procedures, work instructions, and technical reports for traceability and quality assurance.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Manage lab operations including manpower allocation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination.
  7. Train and mentor technicians/operators in assembly, fixture setup, and testing practices.
  8. Coordinate with vendors for procurement, purchase, development, and installation of fixtures, rigs, instruments, and consumables.
  9. Ensure strict compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards during assembly, testing, and validation activities; support audits, inspections, and documentation related to EHS compliance.
  10. Work across multiple shifts, including round-the-clock operations, to ensure uninterrupted assembly, testing, and validation activities.

  • CAD & documentation tools: AutoCAD, Creo, PTC Windchill, SAP.
