We are looking for a metallurgical engineer to handle the laboratory testing and equipment’s. Also, he will be provided with the opportunity to work on the technology development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the incoming inspection of Additive manufacturing powders, powder characterizations and prepare the test reports.
• Manage metallurgy laboratory with hands on experience in working with optical microscopy.
• Preparation of metallographic samples, microstructure analysis, and provide the report on the metallurgical findings.
• Shall have experience with precipitation hardened (PH) alloys, Ni-alloys, Ti-alloys, Al-alloys, and stainless steel.
• Maintain laboratory and equipment, ordering and stocking of laboratory supplies.
• Create necessary material specifications for parts/materials, maintain the test records as the quality QMS requirements.
• Shall have good knowledge of mechanical testing, chemical composition testing and able to communicate with the partner testing labs and get the testing completed.
• Shall have knowledge about the heat treatment, failure analysis, welding, and NDT techniques (MPI, FPI, RT, UT etc.).
• Knowledge and experience in Additive Manufacturing is added advantage. Will be provided with the opportunity to work on R&D project involving new materials development and adoption to AM.

Qualification requirement:

• B. Tech/BE in Metallurgy with 2-3 years of experience or diploma in Metallurgy with 5-6 years of experience.
