About Role:

The Planning Manager will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of water treatment projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in project planning tools, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The Planning Manager will play a critical role in aligning project execution with organizational goals and client expectations.

Qualifications:

Desired Experience: Yrs of Exp / Nature of Exp

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related discipline)

Min. 15 years of experience in project planning, preferably within the water treatment or infrastructure industry

Key Accountabilities: List the key areas of responsibility

• Interpret and understand the full scope of water treatment projects.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, including task networks and dependencies.
• Identify optimal sequencing of activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Prepare, submit, and present schedules to internal teams and client organizations.
• Create clear, detailed, and visually intuitive schedules, charts, and graphs.
• Utilize project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6) to track and maintain project progress.
• Monitor project milestones and compare actual progress against planned schedules.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure alignment.
• Adjust schedules proactively to address delays or changes in scope.
• Liaise with stakeholders across multiple project sites via email, calls, and virtual meetings.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on planning and scheduling matters.
• Ensure integration of all project elements toward common objectives.
• Generate analytical reports, including progress reports, S-curves, and gap analyses.
• Share timely updates, dashboards, and progress reports with senior management to support informed decision-making.
• Develop recovery plans and strategies to meet expedited targets when required.
