Role Purpose

To execute detailed process engineering activities for post-order projects, ensuring accurate design, timely deliverables, and strong technical support across departments.

Key Skills Required: Areas of expertise / skills

• Knowledge on Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies.
• Selection of the best optimal MOC based on the characteristics of the fluid and working
• pressure.
• Selection of the best optimal Valves including type and design, depending on the fluid and

distribution application.

• Able to size the plant as per the operation requirement and safety point of view.
• Technology and integrated multi-process water & wastewater recycle treatment solutions.

Key Accountabilities: List the key areas of responsibility

1. Process Design & Engineering

• Prepare:
• Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
• P&IDs
• Mass balance & calculations
• Control Philosophy
• Process data inputs to cross functional team.
• Perform:
• Equipment sizing (UF, RO, DM, ETP systems)
• Hydraulic calculations

2. Basic Engineering Package (BEP)

• Prepare complete BEP including:
• Design calculations
• Data sheets
• Control philosophy (FRCP)
• Ensure high-quality, error-free deliverables

3. Value Engineering

• Support optimization of:
• Equipment selection
• Chemical dosing schemes
• Process configurations
• Reduce cost & improve efficiency

4. Cross-Functional Support

• Provide process inputs to:
• Mechanical for equipment RFQs
• Instrumentation for control philosophy
• Electrical for load lists
• Assist procurement team for vendor evaluation

5. Client & Vendor Coordination

• Address client comments during:
• Drawing approvals
• CRS (Comment Resolution Sheets)
• Support technical discussions with vendors

6. Commissioning Support

• Assist in:
• Startup & commissioning
• Performance validation
• Provide solutions for:
• Raw/effluent water variation
• Process deviations
