Qualifications:

Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering

12 to 15 years

Key Skills Required: Areas of expertise / skills

• Site fabrication of piping systems.
• Structural steel fabrication works.
• Installation of static and rotary equipment.

Target Companies:

• Water treatment industries, Power plants, chemical plant.  (site experience is mandatory)

Key Accountabilities: List the key areas of responsibility

1. Plan Activity Sequence
   Develop and maintain a logical sequence of construction activities aligned with the project schedule.
2. Review Technical Drawings
   Study and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
3. Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
   Quantify materials and resources based on the drawings and project scope to prepare the BOQ.
4. Identify Resources Required
   Determine and list the necessary tools, manpower, and consumables needed to complete tasks as per the schedule.
5. Report Material Shortages
   Identify short-supply or missing materials and promptly communicate the requirements to the site in-charge or head office.
6. Develop Technical Documentation
   Prepare and submit Method Statements, Job Safety analysis (JSA) and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) reports in accordance with project and safety standards.
